Function: Maintenance Job Summary: The Supt, I&E Maintenance is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring I&E maintenance activities throughout CF Industries’ Distribution Facilities’ system. The incumbent schedules the I&E team’s resources and coordinates tasks to ensure expectations of the project portfolio are fulfilled. The Supt. I&E Maintenance also assists with conducting technical inspections, audits, upgrades and maintenance on all facilities on an as-needed basis. Job Description: Key Job Elements: Work closely with Technical Authority, project leads and other E&TS resources to create project schedules, coordinate resource assignments, monitor project execution, and forecast budget impacts related to the I&E Maintenance portfolio. Identify, link, and monitor critical activities and resources across multiple projects; consistently communicate with multi-disciplinary stakeholders regarding any changes required by schedule modifications. Create and publish schedule deliverables in accordance with the requirements or needs of the necessary stakeholders. Performs maintenance activity on key equipment at Distribution Facilities with special focus on I&E components related to PLCs, pumps, LPSTs, compressors, overhaul, vibration monitoring, oil analysis, and rotating equipment. Is available on an as-needed basis to address I&E maintenance needs of each facility. This includes telephone consultation and travel to facilities to perform repairs on equipment in routine and emergency situations. Ensures timely and cost-effective completion of repairs and maintenance on all facility equipment. Provides on-site training for Distribution personnel in areas of I&E equipment inspection and maintenance. Provides formal training programs. Works closely with each Distribution Facility in the development of proper maintenance activities. This includes programmed maintenance plans, record keeping practices and emergency actions. Maintains accurate and up-to-date maintenance records. Provides input and analysis on proper maintenance to all equipment. Identifies like or recurring maintenance issues and looks for solutions. Communicates maintenance activities and terminal status to Supt, I&E Maintenance and to the terminal facility superintendents. Works with vendors and contractors to develop job scopes and plans. Oversees and directs contractors who perform on-site and off-site work. Ensures contractors work safely and meet performance standards. Successful incumbents will have: Equivalent of 10 years of experience in plant I&E maintenance or related work. Undergraduate technical degree and PMP certification helpful, but not required. Proven aptitude with maintenance planning. Deep background in instrumentation and controls with emphasis on PLC/HMI installations. Ability to obtain a passport and/or a temporary residence permit to travel to Canada on an as-needed basis. Position Scope/Contribution: The Supt, I&E Maintenance is responsible for managing and monitoring I&E Maintenance resource activities in support of CF Industries’ owned Distribution Facilities. Coordinates and assists with the implementation, including procurement and installation, of maintenance projects. Proper performance of the incumbent results in sufficient execution of planned projects and activities required of the I&E Maintenance team resources.
