For compensation and pro bono work, this law firm is at the forefront. As the Compensation Analyst, you will be an integral part of a top notch compensation team and a critical member of our overall Talent organization.
Salary: $80-115k
Schedule: Hybrid, up to 3 days per week in office
Location: Midtown Manhattan
Requirements:
What You Will Do:
• Support the compensation team in the administration of professional staff, case assistant,
paralegal, Science Advisor, and attorney increase and bonus processes.
• As a key compensation team member participate in the design of compensation programs
and processes.
• Prepare spreadsheets and reports to support compensation team and client needs for
compensation information and analysis.
• Assist with developing and supporting training initiatives and drafting communications
relating to compensation.
• Complete salary surveys to support our firm’s critical and robust benchmarking
process – collaborating with other departments to determine information used to
complete surveys; maintaining schedules and monitoring due dates to ensure survey
participation deadlines are met.
• Play key role in ensuring data integrity of compensation information in the Workday
HRIS and other compensation systems, e.g. auditing information related to salary, FLSA,
titles; frameworks, salary ranges, job profiles.
• Work closely with Compensation Managers on the administration of all compensation
systems including Workday, MarketPay and CompXL – will work with comp team and
HRBPs on program communications and project launches; provide user support and
training guides.
• Team with HRIS, Finance, Payroll and Benefits and HR Operations teams to achieve
desired outcomes and produce data to support business needs.
• Make updates to Workday, MarketPay and CompXL systems for compensation related
changes where appropriate.
• Perform calculations for salary True Ups for part-time and hourly attorneys and bonuses
for attorneys.
• Create documentation for compensation administration and processes.
• Create automated compensation notices for salary changes and bonuses.
• Participate in various human resources related projects.
• Develop recommendations for process improvements.
Who You Are:
• Educated with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Prefer 2 to 5 years of compensation or related HR experience.
• Possess experience working with HRIS systems (Workday, MarketPay or CompXL
systems a plus).
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Strong expertise with excel, including VLOOKUP’s, creating charts and graphics, pivot
tables.
• Ability to work flexible hours and extended hours as needed.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; desire to learn and grow in the
compensation field.
• High level of attention to detail.
