Role: Senior Director, Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)Location: Remote US-BasedEssential Functions
  • The Senior Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) at CG Oncology is a pivotal leadership role at CG Oncology responsible for developing and executing the HEOR Evidence Strategy.
  • This individual will partner closely with commercial, medical, and cross-functional teams to align evidence and insights generation plans with drug development and commercialization strategies for assigned assets.
  • The Senior Director will lead a team of HEOR professionals and collaborate with counterparts in Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Modeling to execute approved studies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • The Senior Director will drive the incorporation of research findings into customer-facing communication materials and provide HEOR input into policy issues and value assessments.
  • This role requires strong HEOR expertise, cross-functional leadership, collaboration skills, and integrity.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in health economics, outcomes research, pricing, reimbursement, medical affairs, and/or portfolio analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry, payer, or healthcare sector is highly preferred.
  • Deep experience in health economics, outcomes research methodologies, and designing economic studies, including the development of economic models. Track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications and strategic HEOR communication tools development.
  • Strong understanding of US healthcare systems, including managed care organizations, integrated health systems, PBMs, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with key customers and present materials to drug formularies and other stakeholders.
The U.S. target annual salary range for this remote, full-time, position is currently set at $283,000 - $292,000. The actual base salary offered for this role will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, market factors, experience and considering internal equity. In addition, to the base salary, CG Oncology offers a very attractive set of Total Rewards (including bonus and equity) and Well-Being Benefits provided as part of the overall compensation package for this role.
