Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is a key member of the Finance organization and is responsible for processing financial transactions for the Company.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- High-volume processing of vendor invoices
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts and resolution of any discrepancies
- Reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Responding to external vendors and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process
- Contributing to departmental automation and process improvement projects
- Reconciling vendor statements, researching, and correcting discrepancies
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor Degree is a PLUS
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must have people and communication skills.
Experience:
- 3 years of experience working in Accounts Payable
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP System (Sage)
