CGI has an immediate need for a Mid-Level Java FS Developer (AWS Microservices) to join our team. While this position must be located within a commutable distance to a CGI office, a hybrid working model is acceptable. **Your future duties and responsibilities:**

We are looking for a strong Mid-Level Full Stack Developer with AWS to work on real implementations in a highly dynamic and fast-paced Agile environment. This incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java applications on AWS cloud. A Mid Level Java Full Stack AWS Developer with 6-8 years of experience? responsible for creating applications that span both the front-end (client-side) and back-end (server-side) development. This role consists of 70% back-end development and 30% front-end development.?

**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**

Mid Level Java Full Stack AWS Developer with 6-8 years of experience

AWS Full Stack Developer - Java/ Angular/React, Microservices experience, Springboot, Hibernate

AWS development experience using Java, Node.js, Lambda service and scripting.

Experience with AWS code pipeline, AWS deployment automation, AWS Service Catalog.

Programming experience with Angular and Java, J2EE, XML, and Web Services

Experiences in full life cycle application/system development

Experience developing in distributed application environments (Database, Transaction Management)

Experience writing conceptual and detailed design documents, and developing large scale enterprise applications following an Agile execution model

Cloud Platforms experience: Amazon Web Services (AWS): Solid knowledge of deploying applications on AWS, manage resources, and use of services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway Experience in migrating application(s) from on-prem to cloud, monolithic to microservices, CloudFormation Solid understanding of Cloud Security Tools like IAM, Key Management Services, Cloudwatch, RDS, DDoS etc.,

Experience with Application integrations (SOAP/REST Web Services, ESB, JMS, File/Data transfers, etc.)

Familiar with GIT repositories (Bit Bucket) and Agile Methodology/SCRUM/Kanban UCD, Terraform, Docker/Container basics

Source Code Control/Feature Branching/CICD Pipeline Basics, Version Control

Experience with Jenkins and GIT Foundational

Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) and understanding of data modeling are crucial. MYSQL, PostgreSQL. Worked on NOSQL/DynamoDB

API Development and Integration: Knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs.

Caching: Understand caching mechanisms to optimize performance.

WebSocket: Real-time communication between clients and servers.
