We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our CGI team in Salt Lake City, UT!
This is a full-time career opportunity in supporting a leading global client at the client site in Salt Lake City area.
You will be helping with the containment plan supporting the ramp up of the underground major project - working under the Tech Platform team.

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our CGI team in Salt Lake City, UT!
This is a full-time career opportunity in supporting a leading global client at the client site in Salt Lake City area.
You will be helping with the containment plan supporting the ramp up of the underground major project - working under the Tech Platform team.
Your future duties and responsibilities
How you'll make an impact
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi AP issues
- Network capacity and stress
- Sizing network device
- Support with Maestro Nexus switch setup
- Create a spreadsheet to determine how many IP's
- Learn how the current network underground is setup and come up with an interim plan between low level design being completed and fiber being patched
3 to 6 years experience in the following:
- Networking Basics: IP Protocols, Networking hardware of all kinds
- Cisco and MST switches knowledge would be a plus
- Use of network managing and security tools
- Being able to work in person onsite
- Have worked in heavy industrial/Engineering/Construction industry - strongly preferred
- Mostly work from office, but ability to work in construction/hazardous area on need basis
