Position Description:

CGI is looking for a python developer for designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications and tools
Your future duties and responsibilities:
•Experience with Python framework and designing and writing integrations.
•Experience with API development and microservices architecture.
•Good experience in data exploration and analysis using Python
•Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, testing, and debugging.
•Application Development: Design, code, and test Python applications that deliver efficient and reliable solutions for various business needs.
•Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Python applications with other systems, APIs, and data sources.
•Code Maintenance: Maintain, refactor, and update existing Python codebases to ensure they remain efficient, secure, and aligned with evolving business requirements.
•Data exploration and analysis using Python
•Version Control: Utilize version control systems to manage code changes, collaborate with team members, and track progress.
•Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including code comments and system architecture diagrams.
•Agile Development: Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
•6 years of IT experience.
•6 years of demonstrated technical proficiency with Python related projects.
•Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing your skills.
•Proficiency in writing efficient and maintainable Python code.
•Experience with Panadas, Numpy, SciKit libraries.
•Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
•Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
•Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
•Very strong in technical concepts, Analytical and Problem-solving skills, with ability to confidently interact with other client-side teams.
•Understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800 - $185,800."
