Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures and controls when carrying out assignments.
- Recording vendor invoices, credit card, and sales.
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements
- Reconciliation of purchase invoices vendors’ statement of accounts.
- Review monthly accruals for sufficiency.
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger.
- Assist with the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Research accounting and reporting issues as required.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3 experience in accounting department
- Strong understanding of GAAP and thorough knowledge of financial accounting processes
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- CPA preferred
- Quickbooks experience preferred
