Typical duties and responsibilities

  • Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and support cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Provide clients with legal advice and guidance.
  • Manage case files from inception to resolution.
  • Advocate for clients in court and at mediations.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the Connecticut Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years trial experience in family law.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
