This role is crucial for facilitating the automation of control testing, quality assurance, monitoring, and generating reports for board reporting. The analyst will build automated workflows, configure data pipelines, develop dashboards, and assist in the design of automated reporting frameworks. Build automated workflows for data extraction, processing, and conversion to standardized data models.
Configure data pipelines to ensure end-to-end process automation for various aspects of the Compliance program.
Develop dashboards for Control Testing Automation, Findings, and Risk identification.
Design and develop automated and sustainable reporting for various audiences, including management, the Chief Compliance Officer, the Board of Directors, and regulators.
Support the analytics framework by following best practices in code review, testing, documentation, and technical writing.
Assess existing technologies and data sets to drive analyses and inform decision-making for Compliance.
Escalate issues to the Manager of Compliance Monitoring as needed..
What Qualifications You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related required.
Minimum of 2 yrs experience Risk or Compliance, software development, data analytics, and in financial industries required, quantitative analysis is a plus.
Understanding of statistics and quantitative analysis, with practical experience applying these concepts in a business environment preferred
Experience cleaning and analyzing large and complex datasets to derive meaningful insights.
Skilled in building dashboards and reports, and use of data visualization in Tableau, Power BI, or Python/R data visualization libraries (knowledge of Curator is a plus).
Proficient in Python (Pandas/Numpy), Matlab, or R- (knowledge of OOP languages like C or Java is a plus).
Skilled in SQL for data extraction and for programming for relational databases (familiarity with Splunk is a plus).
Workflow Tools experience with tools like Alteryx or Power BI, capable of scheduling automated jobs in Windows or Unix environments.
Experienced in building end-to-end data pipelines and adhering to best practices in development and testing.
Working knowledge of API protocols for extracting data from REST APIs and source systems.
Familiarity with Agile framework methodologies and versioning tools like Git.
