What You Will Be Accountable For
- Build automated workflows for data extraction, processing, and conversion to standardized data models.
- Configure data pipelines to ensure end-to-end process automation for various aspects of the Compliance program.
- Develop dashboards for Control Testing Automation, Findings, and Risk identification.
- Design and develop automated and sustainable reporting for various audiences, including management, the Chief Compliance Officer, the Board of Directors, and regulators.
- Support the analytics framework by following best practices in code review, testing, documentation, and technical writing.
- Assess existing technologies and data sets to drive analyses and inform decision-making for Compliance.
- Escalate issues to the Manager of Compliance Monitoring as needed..
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related required.
- Minimum of 2 yrs experience Risk or Compliance, software development, data analytics, and in financial industries required, quantitative analysis is a plus.
- Understanding of statistics and quantitative analysis, with practical experience applying these concepts in a business environment preferred
- Experience cleaning and analyzing large and complex datasets to derive meaningful insights.
- Skilled in building dashboards and reports, and use of data visualization in Tableau, Power BI, or Python/R data visualization libraries (knowledge of Curator is a plus).
- Proficient in Python (Pandas/Numpy), Matlab, or R- (knowledge of OOP languages like C or Java is a plus).
- Skilled in SQL for data extraction and for programming for relational databases (familiarity with Splunk is a plus).
- Workflow Tools experience with tools like Alteryx or Power BI, capable of scheduling automated jobs in Windows or Unix environments.
- Experienced in building end-to-end data pipelines and adhering to best practices in development and testing.
- Working knowledge of API protocols for extracting data from REST APIs and source systems.
- Familiarity with Agile framework methodologies and versioning tools like Git.
