Maintenance Technician
The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District is seeking a full-time (40-hour week) Maintenance Technician to assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities and ground.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the physical condition of the facility and its surroundings through routine preventative, corrective, and/or light maintenance work in accordance with safety standards.
- Facilitates mobile events by scheduling and driving the Champaign Urbana Public Health District mobile vehicle to outreach events in Champaign County.
- Utilizes CUPHD truck to haul the Dental trailer to area schools
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- AND five (5) years of janitorial maintenance work experience
- Possess a valid driver's license
- health, dental, and vision insurance with enrollment beginning on the employee's first day of employment
- 14 paid holidays per year
