My client, a law firm specializing in wills, trusts, and estates is actively recruiting a full-time Paralegal with outstanding organizational and communication skills to join their Richmond office to assist attorneys with handling matters in Probate and Trust administration. This position includes all areas of the estate law practice areas that do not require a law degree and often requires substantial client contact in the form of meetings, phone calls, and emails.

The successful candidate will spend time working out of two offices.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in the area of probate, accounting or estate administration. The position requires excellent time management both in personal workflow and in managing deadlines. This position requires consistent and predictable performance, patience, the desire to help others (both clients and co-workers), impeccable listening skills, and the ability to create and contribute to a stable and harmonious work environment.

MUST HAVE:

Experience with estate administration

Experience with probate

Experience with an attorney as the fiduciary or trustee.

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience working in a law firm working as an estate administration paralegal

Paralegal Certificate from a recognized paralegal training program

A four-year degree from an accredited institution.
