If you’re on the Z team, you’re self-motivated, adapt to change well, and most importantly you are consistently delivering on project outcomes and deadlines for our high-end custom homes, commercial design builds, and wonderful clients. Being able to anticipate potential challenges and delegate solutions makes this role successful. You’re an extension of the work we put out into the world and we’re proud to have a tight-knit team. We’ve got a thing for timelines and sticking to them, the PM is responsible for monitoring and presenting project updates to all relevant stakeholders, clients, and project team members. The PM role plays an integral part in our team’s success and is a natural-born leader. This position works closely with our dynamite design team, architect, engineers, and subcontractors to develop plans, establish timelines, and calculate labor and material costs. The Project Manager could oversee anywhere from 1 to 5 projects at a time.

Responsibilities

• Set project timelines

• Monitor project deliverables

• Update team members on the project progress

• Coordinator subcontractor’s schedules

• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

• Managing construction bids, equipment, and materials

• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations

• Predict resources and labor needed in advance

• Main point of contact for communication with client on project updates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, in building construction, construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience

• Construction background with proven project management experience

• Strong business acumen in project planning and management

• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, names Outlook Word, Excel

• Experience with Builder Trend is desired, but not required

• Detail-oriented

• Commercial and Residential experience welcome

Noteworthy details: Project manager is expected to be on-site assisting and overseeing the project progress daily. The Project Manager should anticipate early morning, evening, and weekend work on an as-required basis.
