Job Title: Purchasing (Clerk) - Purchasing
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Hourly Wage Range : $18.00-$22.00
Summary: Performs a range of data management duties including running reports, creating spreadsheets, gathering data, etc. This position also relieves manager of clerical work and minor administrative and business details by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensures timely and accurate documentation of materials and goods received.
• Work with accounting on invoice and payment issues.
• Provides Logistical Support for the Purchasing Department with some time each day spent in the
  Plant gathering data for reports.
• Work with suppliers on invoice and payment issues.
• Responsible for completing physical inventories, cycle counts, random audits and
  reconciliations
• Research and reconcile product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged
  products
• Work with receiving personnel to ensure proper rotation and location of all inventory
• Receiving all incoming deliveries into Navision same day delivered
• Performs a variety of clerical duties including data entry and maintenance of electronic files
  and records
• Reconciling orders in the system

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Familiarity with manufacturing industry a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Organization skills
• Ability to prioritize
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Must live the Champion Operating Principles

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two years directly relevant job experience.
