Champlain Valley Union High School seeks a full time behavior specialist to provide intensive 1:1 support to students in the areas of personal development/behavior, social cognition, and academics. Candidates will have the ability to implement behavior intervention plans, collect and analyze data, and provide targeted specific interventions under the direction of a professional. Being an advocate of inclusive education and being a strong collaborator and problem solver are essential. Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelors degree, two or more years of experience working with students who struggle behaviorally, and an overall background in the field of special education.
