Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed schedules for field installation projects, considering project requirements, subcontractor availability, and deadlines.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure alignment between project timelines and subcontractor schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors regarding scheduling and project updates.
- Communicate project specifications, timelines, and any changes to subcontractors in a clear and timely manner.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise during installations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to allocate resources, equipment, and materials needed for field installations.
- Maintain accurate records of project schedules, subcontractor communications, and installation progress.
- Generate reports on project status, including progress updates, milestones achieved, and any delays or challenges encountered.
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with subcontractors and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of office software suits, including Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis, to assist in scheduling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in the construction industry required.
- 1-3 years of experience in scheduling coordination, project management, or similar role.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
