ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop CULTURE within their restaurant:
Restaurant is fully staffed with only top performing team members and managers, whose constant effort to perform excellent work elevates each individual and the TEAM
Entire TEAM is aware of and is living up to companies’ high standards by serving great food and providing an exceptional guest experience
Ensure entire TEAM is empowered and fully responsible for the success of the entire TEAM and restaurant
Overseeing growth, development and opening of new restaurant locations
Be able to perform all duties and responsibilities of a cook, line server, and cashier
Controls the cost of purchased goods through sales and inventory driven qualities
Controls the cost of labor through sales driven qualities
Manages the overall physical plant (including cleanliness and preventative maintenance)
Responsible for all financial related controls and security
Maintains quality standards
Maintains sanitation and operational standards to corporate or municipal requirements
Be able to address and resolve guest and team member complaints
Manages financial aspect of restaurant to meet or exceed budgeted expectations
Manages administrative procedures of the restaurant to meet or exceed corporate expectations
Leads in the hiring, training, retaining, motivating and terminating all restaurant personnel
Execute same duties and responsibilities when participating in outside events
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop future leaders
Lead by example and train your managers on the importance of People Culture, Food Culture and Business Culture
Manage all team members/managers within the restaurant on assigned shift
QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
All of the 10 characteristics: Happy, Smart, Polite, High Energy, Self-Motivated, Ambitious, Presentable, Respectful, Hospitable, Infectiously Enthusiastic
Minimum 5 years as a GM or Multi-Unit Operator in high volume restaurants (3 mil)
Entrepreneurial (ownership) mentality
Must meet the minimal criteria in background check
High School degree or equivalent
Previous multi-unit / management or supervisory experience preferred
Age requirements may apply in order to remain in compliance of State and Federal Law
Ability to speak, write, read and understand the primary language (s) of the work location
Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to adapt to new systems quickly
Local restaurant marketing experience a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required to operate/access equipment set at standard heights, while walking or standing during entire shift
Must reach, bend, stoop, lift, wipe and climb
Some repetitive motion may be required
WORK CONDITIONS
The job entails a minimum commitment of 50 hours a week-shifts of varying times and varying lengths
Must be available / willing to work evenings and weekends
Must be accessible and available during operating hours
Fast-paced restaurant environment, sometimes stressful
Must have access to adequate transportation and complete the administrative driving requirement
Complete work required within a limited space
Team member will often work in a hot environment with heavy and sometimes heated equipment.
