FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES:

  • Apoyar a clientes mediante entrenamiento para mantener su empleo.
  • Proporcionar entrenamiento a los clientes en habilidades técnicas, hábitos/comportamientos laborales y otras habilidades necesarias para tener éxito en el trabajo.
  • Documentar el desempeño del cliente y mantener registros actualizados de acuerdo con cada fuente de referencia.
  • Aplicar paciencia, respeto y dignidad al trabajar con los clientes.
  • Mantener un enfoque positivo al enfrentar situaciones desafiantes.
  • Modelar y entrenar prácticas seguras en cada tarea.
  • Mantener contacto regular con la gerencia del negocio.
  • Asegurar que se preserven los derechos del cliente.

CALIFICACIONES:

  • Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente.
  • Mínimo de seis meses de experiencia trabajando con adultos con discapacidades.
  • Habilidades técnicas incrementadas relacionadas con el campo de trabajo.
  • Certificación de CPR/Primeros Auxilios/AED, o capaz de obtener y mantener una
  • Certificación de CPR/Primeros Auxilios/AED.
  • Tarjeta de autorización de huellas dactilares, o capaz de obtenerla y mantenerla.
  • Proporcionar prueba de buena conducción Motor Vehicle Records | Department of Transportation (azdot.gov)
  • Capacidad para equilibrarse, inclinarse, estar de pie, caminar, arrodillarse, torcerse, estirarse, trepar y sentarse.
  • Capacidad para levantar, llevar, empujar y jalar hasta 50 libras sin ayuda.
  • Capacidad para escribir notas de caso precisas, claras e informativas.
  • Capacidad para tolerar condiciones ambientales, como calor, frío, humedad, polvo, ruido, etc.
  • Capacidad para trabajar, conducir y viajar de forma independiente a varios lugares.
  • Capacidad para comunicarse efectivamente tanto oralmente como por escrito.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support clients through coaching to maintain independent employment
  • Provides training to clients related to technical skills, work habits/behaviors and other skills needed to succeed on the job.
  • Document client performance and maintain current records in compliance with each referral source.
  • Applies patience, respect and dignity when working with clients.
  • Maintains positive approach when dealing with challenging situations.
  • Models and trains safe practices on each task.
  • Maintains regular contact with business' management.
  • Ensures that client rights are preserved.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months of experience working with adults with disabilities.
  • Increased technical skills related to field of work.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
  • Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.
  • Provide proof of good driving Motor Vehicle Records | Department of Transportation (azdot.gov)
  • Ability to balance, bend, stand, walk, kneel, twist, stretch, climb, and sit.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to write accurate, clear, and informative case notes.
  • Ability to tolerate environmental conditions, such as hot, cold, wetness, dust, noise, etc.
  • Ability to work, drive and travel independently to various sites.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and the public.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to use good judgment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to learn and use equipment.
  • Ability to use power tools, equipment, and machinery.

WORK HOURS AND SCHEDULE:

Monday-Thursday 9:00 am-1:00pm.
