Pub Busser/Barback Job Description

Job Title: Seasonal Pub Busser/Barback Department: Food and Beverage 

Reports to: Pub Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary

The Pub busser/barback position is responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables. They also ensure the pub is well stocked in terms of glassware, condiments, and ingredients for drinks. May-September

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables
• Wiping up drink spills, food stains, and dirt from the tables
• Replacing glassware and cutlery for the next diners
• Restocking condiments 
• Running stock for the bar
• Running ice
• Running glassware
• Trash removal
• Restocking general supplies within the Pub
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Shifts are Thursday, Friday, Saturday with the possibility of additional days depending on the needs of the business
• 18 years or older
• At least one year of restaurant experience

While performing the duties the employee is regularly required to stand, or walk, reach/carry with hands and arms and must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
