We are seeking an individual to drive our instrument and electrical maintenance by using the most appropriate and effective tools and techniques.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Provide technical field support to Maintenance personnel, participate in Root Cause Failure Analyses, and help drive our instrumentation spares strategy and optimization of PM and PdM programs.
Ø Collaborate with Production and Maintenance personnel and provide services related to design, review, repair, and maintenance, including predictive/preventative maintenance activities.
Ø Ensure a culture of continuous improvement employing LEAN Manufacturing tools.
Ø Drive improvements, troubleshoot, optimize costs, and improve Asset Effectiveness (e.g., Bad Actor Program; FMEA; RBI; RBM; RCM; Reliability Roadmap etc.).
Ø Provide technical support and guidance to Production and Maintenance personnel.
Ø Identify improvement opportunities and propose and implement sustainable solutions for I&E equipment.
Ø Establish, monitor, and optimize Preventative Maintenance Plans.
Ø Offer Tier 1 troubleshooting support and recommendations to operating units including emergency work reviews and participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis and execute corrective actions for complex and/or repetitive problems.
Ø Provide first line technical support to maintenance supervisors and crafts on equipment problems.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Ø Bachelor's or advanced degree.
Ø Background in an engineering discipline (preferably Electrical), along with your experience in a chemical/petrochemical or manufacturing environment in maintenance and/or reliability, you will provide instrument and electrical engineering expertise.
Ø Thorough knowledge of reliability tools.
Ø Thorough general knowledge of instrument equipment design and detailed understanding of maintenance and reliability activities associated with process equipment such as level, pressure and temperature transmitters, analyzers, motors, variable frequency drives of various design.
Ø Ability to work with Asset Effectiveness resources.
Ø General understanding of industrial maintenance procedures including work planning, PM, and repair parts acquisition.
Ø Background in optimization of equipment, PM activities and strategies.
Ø Sound technical knowledge of instrumentation, analyzers, and electrical.
