Channel Personnel Services is Hiring a Maintenance Reliability Leader Near Louisville, KY

Job Description

Job Description
This role provides leadership to the team responsible for the asset maintenance & reliability throughout the facility. This includes facilitating the Asset Care & Reliability Program made up of Work Identification and Management; Planning & Scheduling; Preventive, Predictive and Condition Based Maintenance Activities MRO Management and Technician Training and Development. The successful individual must possess not only superior technical acumen, but also team based, collaborative leadership skills.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Direct team activities in coordination with production, establishing task priorities, scheduling, and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
Ø Tracks, analyzes, and improves key maintenance parameters such as Overall Equipment Efficient (OEE), Asset Care & Reliability Leading indicators, and Asset maintenance related productivity. Leverage Infrared, Lubrication Analysis, Ultrasound inspection, and Vibration capabilities to further the Preventative, Predictive and Condition Based Maintenance Program.
Ø Develop and deliver budget accounts specific to this function, MRO, and other maintenance items.
Ø Play a lead role in development and execution of annual CAPEX projects.
Ø Monitors operation’s equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Ø Drive continuous improvement via the effective implementation of the Maintenance Program (waste/cost reduction, productivity improvement, cycle time reduction) through good manufacturing principles.
Ø Lead key productivity initiatives that may involve members of cross-functional teams from other shifts or departments.
Ø Monitors the use and inventories of critical spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure inventory accuracy in support of technician efficiency and Cost management.
Ø Ensures city, state and federal regulations relating to the maintenance department are always met.
Ø Follow corporate guidance, rules, and programs as required constantly looking to recommend improvements.
Ø Communicate daily with the management team regarding safety, quality, scheduling, delivery, workload capacity and staffing issues.
Ø Develop and maintain an effective and sustainable PM system that will support productivity efficiencies in the plant.
Ø Achieve cost reduction targets, reduce waste, improve quality, identify, and resolve ergonomic issues.
Ø Understand and identify EHS Hazards, risks and controls of the operations and activities at the site.
Ø Drive the creation and improvement of standardized work.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
v 7-10 years of maintenance and/or reliability experience in a manufacturing facility
v 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager. Ability to engage, lead and develop a maintenance team.
v Excellent organizational, analytical, investigation, and problem-solving skills essential. Must be a collaborative team player.
v Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills a must.
v Proficient with Microsoft applications – strong understanding of Excel a must
v Continuous improvement mindset essential. Experience building successful PM systems/programs a must.
v Experience with SAP or similar CMMS system
v Experience in both chemical processing and chemical manufacturing equipment is a plus but is not required.
