We are seeking experienced drivers to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. A CDL license is NOT required, but a Chauffeur License and experience with 26 ft box trucks is a must. Potential candidates must be at least 25 years of age, valid state driver's license, and good driving record – You WILL be driving the company vehicles. Travel is required for this position. This position requires you to be able to deliver large household appliances/electronics (dishwashers, washer & dryers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, microwaves, plasma, LCD, LED Televisions), as well as handling them properly. Must be willing to learn the installer role as well for backup on stops with multiple items delivered.

Provide friendly, top-notch customer experience through white glove service with a servant’s heart in our stores and during customers' home deliveries. Through safe and compliant loading/unloading and installation of products. While following all handling and transportation procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Transport appliances to a variety of destinations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues.
• Able to perform preventative maintenance.
• Follow routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving.
• Retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as following company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations timely*

Key Requirements:

• Truck/Delivery Driver experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Able to lift over 100 lbs with assistance.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• No recent moving or driving violations.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations. NO FELONIES
• A Valid Driver's License

Job Type: Full Time 1099-Contractor

Pay: $15-18 per hour

MUST COME TRAINED IN APPLIANCE INSTALLATION OF THE FOLLOWING: (COMFORTABLE WITH GAS & ELECTRIC) WASHER/DRYER, RANGE STOVE, DISWASHER, REFRIGERATOR.

Quarterly Performance-based evaluations (every 3 months)

Semi-Annual Merit-based raises (every 6 months)

Weekly pay must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Schedule:

• 10-12 hour shift
• Day shift
• 5-6 days Per Week Monday to Saturday
• Saturdays Required
