Char’d runs as a Korean bar and grill restaurant. We have been voted “Best Korean restaurant in Milwaukee” 4 years in a row. We strive to vitalize the heart of Milwaukee by offering modern Korean cuisine with grilled meats and greens.

We believe food is information and vibration that could transform people’s lives. We welcome people who are fun yet professional, upbeat, social, and who are interested in Korean culture and cuisine into our team. We are located in the art inspired center of the Historic Third Ward. Our standards are high and we are looking for people who aspire to meet them.

Shifts would be from 4:00PM to 10:00PM Fridays and Saturdays, and 4:00PM to 9:00PM on Sundays and weekdays. You MUST be able to work weekends as well as at least 2 weekday shifts.

Pay is $14.00 per hour, plus tip outs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience preferred, but not required.
• Has a strong sense of genuine and heartfelt hospitality.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to work up to six hour shifts, with extensive standing and walking.
• Ability to meet Char’d dress code and grooming standards and maintain during shifts.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and seat them at tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so servers receive an appropriate number of tables.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
• Be proactive in scheduling and preparing for large parties.
• Receive and record guest dining reservations via electronic applications (Clover POS and OpenTable).
• Handle take out orders via phone, uber doordash tablets.
• Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our menu offerings.
• Solicit guest feedback and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive attitude and demeanor.
