Chariot Logistics Inc is looking for a positive, energetic individual to join our growing company as a Carrier Sales Representative. The ideal candidate is an upbeat, highly motivated individual looking for a job where your your goal is to help customers move their inventory in the most cost-effective way by identifying and providing logistics solutions. Entry level position with growth opportunities and unlimited bonus potential. Carrier Sales Representatives at Chariot Logistics will have the opportunity to build relationships with carriers and manage your individual carrier base while working in a team environment.
Job Duties will include:
Booking and Managing Over the Road freight Shipments
Negotiating Freight Rates with Carriers
Qualifying Carriers
Tracking and Tracing in Transit Moves
Building and Managing Carrier Relations
Fielding inbound carrier calls
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Highly Motivated
Strong Communication skills
Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
Experience in the 3PL industry with prior Freight Broker experience a plus
Microsoft office proficient
Prior sales experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently while supporting an overall team mentality
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
