Kia of Des Moines is seeking a Parts Clerk who will provide our customers with exceptional service. Kia of Des Moines makes customer service a top priority so candidates must be friendly, customer service focused, be reliable, and maintain a professional appearance.

Here’s What You’ll be Doing: 

• Restocking of inventory. 
• Operate forklift, after required training and certification. 
• Determines shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. 
• Examines contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment. 
• Prepares documents, such as bills of lading, and shipping orders. 
• Corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications. 
• Requisitions and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. 
• Assist with inventory counts. 
• Keeps current on new products and product updates. 
• Parts Delivery. 
• Assist other parts counter staff. 
• Assist in keeping parts area clean and orderly. 
• Participates in all training programs that are made available.
• Assist in removal and scrapping of old inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $20 per hour

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply
• Have a valid Iowa Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Will submit to a drug and background screening 
• Be able to walk and be outside frequently
