As the Business Development Manager at my client, you will be instrumental in building a sales and revenue generation powerhouse, setting the stage for our next growth phase. You will be responsible for generating scheduled meetings and opportunities, contributing to the go-to-market strategy, and laying the foundation for a robust sales team and client base. Your success will have a direct impact on our success!

Responsibilities and Impact

  • Generate quality sales opportunities through proactive, strategic prospecting and networking.
  • Manage sales opportunities by creating and executing a comprehensive prospecting plan through research, outreach (calls and emails), leveraging personal networks, and following up on marketing-generated leads.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to arrange meetings via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Write context-based and hyper-personalized messages.
  • Utilize CRM and sales engagement tools to track and manage lead progression.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and product offerings.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, accounting, business, or equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in an early-stage startup company - a must.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Native English proficiency.
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for sales.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Tech-savvy: the ability to learn and work quickly with new tools.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
