Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods. Develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. Improve and streamline critical business processes including overnight batch process, business ready checks, and health checks automation. Drive software issue analysis and resolution, recommend solutions, and help to promote the overall software support strategy, including transformation initiatives of automation and proactive monitoring of infrastructure and processes. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.
Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.
Salary: $153,676 - $160,800
Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience, or Master's in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field, plus 3 years of related experience.
Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: Splunk and AppDynamics; SQL Server and Mongo DB; AWS Technology (AWS Database Migration Service, EC2, CloudWatch, and Lambda); Atlassian tools (Jira,Confluence, Bamboo, BitBucket, and Agile Frameworks); Control M or Informatica; CRD (Charles river) and AXIOMA Trading applications; and remedy incident management tool to support production issues.
