The Role 

We are seeking hard-working and reliable warehouse workers to join our growing operation in Salt Lake City. In this role, you will work in our Ripening/Receiver department, managing incoming/outgoing orders, loading/unloading delivery trucks, move inventory to the proper designated locations, fulfill orders and any other duties assigned by your supervisor

We prefer candidates who have some warehouse experience, but we are willing to train the right person!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high in a refrigerated environment
• Communicate any inventory, stocking, racking or equipment maintenance issues to supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Operate equipment such as a forklift and/or riding pallet jack, as needed
• Break down and build up pallets of product
• Follow food safety quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Qualifications

Requirements

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, 35-45 degrees
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
• Ability to work without direct supervision and prioritize activities under pressure
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to actively engage in continuous improvement activities
• Warehouse experience is a plus but not required
• RF Scanner experience is a plus but not required
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required
• Able to work on your feet for 8 hours
• Good communication skills
• Ability to adhere to all food and safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to take and pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be able to drive between two facilities in own vehicle
