General Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our new Charlie's Safari Family Fun Center opening in Tacoma. Charlie's Safari consists of a large indoor playground and climbing structure, some parkour elements, inflatables, an arcade with prizes, and a snackbar. Charlie's Safari used to operate down in Lacey, but now we are moving it to Tacoma and reopening summer 2024. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hiring staff members, managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving profitability and most importantly, promoting fun experiences for everyone.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of the Family Fun Center including staff management, client satisfaction, inventory control, and financial performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance overall customer experience and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. (Including play areas, arcade, snackbar / kitchen, parents' lounge)
- Manage and motivate a diverse team to deliver outstanding service and achieve business goals.
- Monitor and analyze financial reports to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with staff and vendors to maintain food quality standards.
- Handle cash handling procedures, including reconciling cash drawers and preparing bank deposits.
- Implement training programs to enhance staff skills in areas such as customer service, food handling, and bartending.

Ideal Candidates would possess most or all of these traits:

- Proven experience in a General Manager or similar role within any service industry (restaurants, family fun centers, trades, amusement parks etc).
- Strong background in culinary operations, customer service, cash handling, food production, and staff management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Knowledge service management best practices and industry regulations for food / health related items as well as Fun Centers.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with customers, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree and/or experience in related industries is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
