Position Overview:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and Catholic teachings.
• Prepare college-preparatory lesson plans.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students, including those with accommodations.
• Collaborate with coworkers, communicate with students and parents on classroom-related issues, and grade instructional material promptly.
• Engage in on-going professional development to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications:

• Catholic candidates are preferred but not required. If a candidate is not Catholic, they must have an understanding and appreciation of the Catholic Faith and Tradition.
• An undergraduate degree in Latin or in an education-related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills, classroom organization and management skills.
• Teaching experience is preferred. NC State certification is highly recommended. If the candidate does not have NC certification, the candidate must meet diocesan standards for assignment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,040.85 - $80,000.00 per year
