We are looking to hire a positive, upbeat & hardworking receptionist to join our new & growing veterinary hospital in the Steele Creek area of the expanding Charlotte metropolitan. We are a short drive from beautiful Lake Wylie, the heart of uptown Charlotte and Charlotte-Douglas international airport. The area is growing and we are excited to help serve the pets of our community. Join our team and help become a part of something special!

By establishing a new footprint in the area, we plan to build a dedicated base of clients who are willing to go above and beyond to offer the best for their fur-babies. You will work side-by-side with our dedicated, progressive team in our recently remodeled facility. This is an opportunity to become a part of a team that will utilize the newest advances in medical technology and ensure patients receive outstanding medical care.

The position requires thorough, honest and open communication, teamwork and maintenance of a smooth hospital flow of operations. Competitive candidates will be engaging, up-beat, compassionate, and can multi-task with a positive and fun attitude. Being a dynamic team player in a fast-paced environment is critical. You will be responsible for client services, including telephone communication, appointment scheduling, check out, ensuring the smooth flow of appointments, and thorough client communication. As a receptionist, you will be the first face clients see when entering the hospital. Maintaining a positive attitude, calm demeanor & willingness to work through difficult situations is essential. Veterinary or healthcare experience would be ideal, but not required if the candidate is motivated to learn the ins and outs of the profession. Other requirements include computer & phone proficiency, working in a team, and be willing to help fill in other areas of the hospital as needed (open to helping with animal handling, cleaning, laundry, etc.).
