Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Use effective classroom management techniques to promote a productive learning atmosphere
- Provide individualized support and early intervention strategies for students who may be struggling academically or behaviorally
- Utilize learning technology and educational resources to enhance instruction
- Foster a love of reading and literacy through library services and promoting independent reading
- Mentor and guide students in their social and emotional development
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
- Regularly assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required)
- Valid teaching certification or license (required)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
- Proficient in lesson planning, curriculum design, and assessment strategies
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and resources
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
