As a Quality Manager Your Responsibilities Will Be
  • Execute a Quality Management System based on Continuous Improvement.
  • Research and analyze all customer issues and internal issues for the plant. Maintain quality trend analysis.
  • Communicate with Customers, Sales, CSR’s and Technical Representatives to resolve issues.
  • Create corrective action reports for customer issues and internal issues.
  • Organize Corrective Action implementation with production and other departments, verify implementation and validate effectiveness.
  • Disposition material – internal holds and returns.
  • Present Quality Metrics to Senior Management.
  • Lead, supervise, train, and communicate with quality technicians on all shifts.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule – willing to come in on nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Attend production shift meetings – present complaints, returns and internal issues.
  • Create and review specifications.
  • Review test data for accuracy.
  • Perform equipment verifications when necessary.
  • Comply with all AIB, BRC and company standards.
A Strong Quality Manager Will Possess
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with quality management systems. ISO 9000, and statistical process control preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience – Green Belt Preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Products)
  • Demonstrated skills in organizing work, taking initiative, setting priorities and sound decision-making.
  • Possess logic, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills.
  • Deals effectively with company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to top management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent personal relation skills to communicate and interact with personnel at all levels.

  • Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
  • Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
  • Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
  • Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
  • Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
