The Role
The Elementary Social Worker is an important member of the school's Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) team. In this role, you will be serving students as they grow and develop their social and emotional skills. Meeting street schools follows an ASCA model that emphasizes a counselor’s responsibility to directly impact student social and emotional learning through delivery and supervision of whole school SEL supports as well as group and individual counseling. As a full member of the Meeting Street faculty, you will also help grow the brain of your adult colleagues as well. School Counselors report to the campus Director of Student Support.
