Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Ensures that all students are provided with a meal.
• Help supervising students during their lunch time.
• Helps students with opening packages, juice boxes, etc.
• Cleans after every lunch break during lunch time.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of cafeteria and assists with end of day cleaning and close down.
• Maintains efficient and smooth flow of service and works closely with coworkers to assure that students, staff and faculty have a pleasurable dining experience, and that all students are provided with a meal.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

• Ability to stand for up to six (6) continuous hours.
• Ability to stand, stoop, reach and bend; mobility of arms to reach, dexterity of hands to grasp and manipulate large and small objects.
• Work with caustic and non-caustic chemicals.
• Ability to work with frequent interruption and to supervise a variety of tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

• The employee may be required to work around loud noise.
• Ability to work in an inside environment.
• Ability to work in a hot environment.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma, completion of GED or equivalent courses
• Food Service Experience preferred
