Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Provide instruction to students in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Use effective teaching strategies to engage students and facilitate their understanding of the material
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a productive and respectful classroom environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special needs
- Knowledge of education administration and early intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes
- Ability to write clear and concise reports and assessments
- Familiarity with library services and resources for educational purposes
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students is a plus
