CHASESTAFFING.COM is Hiring a Production Manager Near Ball, GA

Chase Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee all shifts of extrusion production ensuring safety procedures are followed, products are on-schedule and within specified quality standards. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and implements improvements in production methods, equipment, operating systems, and working conditions. The position is responsible for setting an example to all employees on a regular basis on achieving results, teamwork, and presenting a positive attitude & perception towards the workplace. The employee must lift and move objects up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and move objects up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Essential Functions
  • Provide daily leadership, enforce all safety rules, work in a safe & appropriate manner, and ensure all safety-related incidents are documented & communicated 
  • Achieve stated production and yield goals with the highest efficiencies
  • Management of 3 leads and 24 - hourly operators
  • Facilitates shift-to-shift communications, decisions, policies, and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes, and results.
  • Implement new or drive current manufacturing plans while improving established procedures for maintaining high standards of production efficiency, ensuring that products conform to established customer and company quality standards.
  • Manage manufacturing policies, practices, and training programs designed to lead the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.
  • Ensure Pre-Start Ups, Daily Production Reports, Operator Checks, QC Checks, and other necessary production paperwork must be completed on time and correctly 100% of the time.
  • Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity across all operations.
  • Performs other duties, appropriate to the role, as may be required by the organization.
  • Develop, track, and report all departmental KPIs to reduce expenses and improve efficiencies
  • Assist in both finished and raw goods inventory 
  • Provide feedback on employee performance through SWOT/face-to-face meetings and annual reviews

  • Understanding of operational budgets, P&L statements, and aggressive cost control
Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma, GED, Technical degree, or equivalent years of experience 
  • 5-7 years in a Manufacturing environment or relative experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a Manufacturing leadership role
  • 1-3 years in a Production Management role
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000, plus monthly incentives & YE bonus
Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Hours: Floating between the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Must be flexible!
3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
11:30 PM - 7:30 AM
