Chasta Medical Staffing is Hiring a Clinical Nursing Resident - Professional Development Program Near Petersburg, FL

Exciting Nursing Residency Opportunity: Join Our Program
Schedule And Commitment
  • Initial schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day, totaling 40 hours per week, with potential weekend shifts during holidays.
  • Preceptorship phase: Three 12-hour shifts per week plus every other weekend at the hospital, aligning with the preceptor's schedule.
  • Mandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, EKG, NIH Stroke Scale, and Meditech Modules.
  • Full-time commitment: A minimum two-year commitment to the hospital is required upon program acceptance, with potential repayment of educational costs if the commitment is not fulfilled.
Professional Development Program
  • Mentorship and social integration.
  • Resident seminars for professional development.
  • Completion of an evidence-based presentation.
  • Acquisition of Charge Nurse and Preceptor skills.
Qualifications
  • Recently graduated from an accredited nursing school within the past 12 months.
  • Limited RN experience preferred (less than 6 months, ideally under 2 months in a hospital setting and no more than 6 months in nursing home/home health).
  • Current FL RN license or compact licensure.
  • Medical or service industry experience beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Must be self-motivated with strong communication skills.
  • Emphasis on candidates who demonstrate care and compassion for patients.
