Chasta Medical Staffing is Hiring a Digital Imaging Specialist (Radiologic Technologist) Near Pensacola, FL

OverviewJoin our team as a Radiologic Technologist, where you will be responsible for conducting a variety of General Radiology procedures in a digital/PACS environment. Your role will involve operating x-ray equipment in hospital/trauma and outpatient settings, ensuring accurate patient information, maintaining quality images, and following hospital policies and procedures. You will also participate in Quality Improvement processes and adhere to behavior standards.
Responsibilities
  • Perform a full range of General Radiology procedures, such as Portables, fluoroscopy, trauma, and DEXA bone densitometry.
  • Operate x-ray equipment in hospital/trauma and outpatient settings.
  • Confirm order accuracy, patient details, and exam correctness in Meditech.
  • Obtain high-quality images by considering technical and positional factors.
  • Maintain low radiation exposure levels and ensure patient demographics are correct.
  • Follow procedures for processing, quality assurance, and releasing images.
  • Adhere to protocols for "Stat" procedures and special exam instructions.
  • Be flexible with schedule changes, including call shifts and special procedures.
QualificationsEducation:
  • Graduation from an ARRT Accredited Program with current ARRT registry is necessary.
Experience
  • Clinical experience from a Radiologic Technology Program is mandatory.
  • Ideally, 1 to 3 years of experience as a registered technologist is preferred.
License/Certification
  • Must possess a current ARRT registry and Florida Certification.
Additional Information
  • Availability for day shifts within a hospital setting is essential.
  • Candidates must have ARRT and FL license before starting.
  • Salary range: $18.73 to $27 per hour (maximum).
  • Weekend differential: $2 per hour.
  • On-call compensation: $3 per hour.
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus offered.
  • Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis.
