Chasta Medical Staffing is Hiring an Experienced Radiologic Technologist - General Radiology & DEXA Near Pensacola, FL
DescriptionYou will perform a comprehensive range of General Radiology procedures, including but not limited to portables, fluoroscopy, operating room, trauma, contrast studies, and DEXA bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment. Your responsibilities will include operating various x-ray equipment in both hospital/trauma and outpatient settings, confirming orders, ensuring correct patient and exam details, and entering exams in Meditech. You will be tasked with obtaining quality images while maintaining exposure to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable. Additionally, you will confirm patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing and quality assurance of images, ensuring all “Stat” procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately. Flexibility is essential as you will need to adapt to schedule changes, including call shifts and callbacks for procedures or holidays, while following hospital policies and procedures. Participation in the Quality Improvement process and adherence to standards of behavior is also required.

- Graduate of ARRT Accredited Program and current ARRT registry required
- Clinical experience acquired in a Radiologic Technology Program is required
- A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience as a registered technologist is preferred.
- Current ARRT registry required
- Florida Certification is required.
- 3 openings available
- 1 year experience within a hospital setting
- Day shifts
- ARRT and Florida license required before start
- Salary: \(18.73 - \)27 MAX
- Weekend Differential: $2
- On Call: $3
- Sign-on Bonus: $5,000
