DescriptionYou will manage the nursing care of critically ill patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks and responsibilities aimed at ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
Responsibilities

- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Carry out physician orders.
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Provide respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring for patients.
- Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- Instruct and educate patients and families.
- Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Provide age and culturally appropriate care.
- Orient and mentor new staff members.
- Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- Education Required: Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN.
- Licensure/Certification: Current State of Florida license for Registered Nurse or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire). BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred.
- Experience Required: Acute care experience required; Critical Care experience preferred.
- Shifts: Nights 7-7.
- Must have 1 year ICU experience or have floated to ICU.
- Salary Range: \(26 - \)34 (10 years).
- Sign-On Bonus: $15k with a 2-year commitment.
- Relocation: Case by case.
- Weekend Differential: $2.
- Nights Differential: $3.25.
