Opportunity SummaryOur facility is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing patient care and conducting procedures that involve ionizing radiation in alignment with ALARA standards. Your duties will include operating equipment to generate diagnostic images, assisting Interventionalists during procedures, managing inventory, and participating in patient scheduling. Additionally, you will be on-call to provide emergency coverage after hours.
QualificationsEducation: Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program with training in Special Procedures.
Experience: 1 year of related experience in special procedures.
Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, proficiency in organization and multitasking, and basic computer skills.
Certifications: Required - State of Florida HRS Licensure as a "General Radiographer" and Basic Life Support Certification (BLS). Preferred - ARRT Registration RT & VI or CV.

Additional Information
- Ideal candidate should have acute hospital experience in interventional or special procedures.
- Candidates with experience in vascular interventional procedures (VI) are highly preferred.
- Consideration will be given to individuals who have completed cardiovascular school.
- On-call requirement: Must reside within a 30-minute proximity for availability twice during the week and every third weekend.
- This position offers four openings.
- Shift Schedule: Monday to Saturday, rotating 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5 PM.
- Salary Range: $24 - $35 per hour, based on a 17-year scale.
- On-call Compensation: $4 per hour during on-call hours.
- Sign-on Bonus: $15,000.
- Relocation Assistance: Offered on a case-by-case basis.
