PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION TECHNICIAN-PORTER

We are getting vehicles daily and we need energetic, fast-paced people to do state inspections, vehicle check-ins, and accessory installations. We promote from within when we can and this position can be a stepping stone to other positions available in the dealership.

THE POSITION:

We are to maintain the trust of our customers. We should make sure that their vehicle is ready for delivery. We are careful to maintain the integrity of that vehicle.

* Inspect Vehicles off the transport

* Report any damage or problems upon inspection of the vehicle

* Install all accessories that have been assigned to that vehicle

* Ensure vehicles are state-inspected and road ready

* Bring vehicles from East Park to the dealership

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

* Must be able to drive and operate a motor vehicle.

* Must be able to hear and speak clearly to communicate with others.

* Must be able to stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time.

* Must be able to regularly lift and exert up to 50 pounds of force in order to carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

* Must be able to climb into and out of medium-duty trucks

* Must be able to perform job functions outside when it rains

Chastang Ford is located in Houston, TX approximately one-mile East of I-69 on the 610 North Loop East.
