Chatham Bars Inn is Hiring a Maintenance Tech (HVAC) Near Chatham, MA
The responsibilities of the Preventative Maintenance Tech (HVAC) include but are not limited to performing general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms/suites, meeting space, restaurant and common areas. The Preventative Maintenance Tech (HVAC) will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing and kitchen equipment.
- Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns as requested by Chief Engineer and/or the Director of Property Operations
- Performs and/or monitors maintenance and preventative maintenance projects through the company's Knowcross PM system with follow through when the project is completed
- Responds to all building related safety concerns
- Maintains departmental compliance with hotel maintenance procedures at all times
- Maintains compliance with zoning rules and regulations
- Adheres to all safety standards put forth by Chatham Bars Inn and OSHA
- Basic knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC required
- Hotel or Resort experience preferred
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekend, holiday and evening shifts.
- Excellent Communication skills required with staff & guests
- Valid Driver's license required
- Well organized with the ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Fluency in English (verbal/written) is necessary, ability to speak additional languages is desired but not required
