Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Processing Sales Representative at Chatham Steel Corporation. The Processing Sales Representative will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to sales and customer service in the processing department. This includes processing orders, managing customer inquiries, coordinating with the production team, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role is located in Savannah, GA.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service
• Knowledge of steel and metal products
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Experience in the steel industry (preferred)
• Ability to locate and identify material (thickness, size, grade and heat numbers)
• Must be able to read blueprints and interpret customer drawings (essential)
• Knowledge of oxy-fuel and plasma burning machines, shear, saws and production equipment is a must
