Chatori Kvassery, LLC is Hiring a Kitchen Staff (part time 2-4 hours weekly) Near Washington, DC

Location: Washington, DC (close to NoMa-Gallaudet metro station)

About Us: RyeAde is a dynamic and innovative nano-brewery specializing in the production of non-alcoholic fermented rye beverages inspired by traditional Ukrainian kvass. We are passionate about bringing cultural richness and sustainability to the beverage industry.

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Intern(starting at 2-4 hours weekly) to join our team as a Kitchen/Beverage Production Assistant. This role is perfect for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in beverage production and kitchen operations within a growing, mission-driven company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and production of our signature non-alcoholic fermented rye beverages.
  • Support kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Assist with the canning and packaging process, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene.
  • Help with inventory management, including tracking supplies and restocking as needed.
  • Participate in the development and testing of new beverage recipes.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (current students are encouraged to apply).
  • Interest in food and beverage production, with a passion for sustainability and cultural traditions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or beverage production environment is a plus, but not required.
