YOUR DAY AS A PASTRY CHEF - BAKER

As a Pastry Chef - Baker, you start your morning by scaling, mixing, and proofing a variety of pastry doughs, from flaky croissants to decadent cakes. With a steady hand and an eye for detail, you expertly decorate and finish each pastry to our bakery's high standards. Throughout the day, you collaborate with our team to fulfill custom orders and ensure that our display case is always filled with tantalizing treats. With a commitment to food safety and sanitation, you'll maintain a clean and organized workspace, all while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PASTRY CHEF - BAKER

• 2 years of experience in the culinary field and/or a high-volume bakery
• Accredited food safety certification or equivalent
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Adept at troubleshooting with the ability to calmly handle difficult situations
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary education degree, certification, or equivalent
• Cake decorating experience
