Conflicts / New Business Intake Specialist 0 6-Month Contract
Location : U.S.- Remote
Overview :
A Top-rated Law Firm currently has an excellent opportunity for a Contract - Conflicts / Business Intake Risk and Compliance Counsel.
This is a temporary position that could be based in any of our U.S. offices (Austin; Chicago; Boston; Houston; Los Angeles;
New York; Menlo Park; Orange County; Portland; Sacramento; San Francisco; Santa Monica; Seattle; Washington DC; or Wheeling, WV) and consideration given for 100% remote US locations.
Responsibilities :
The CRCC ’s role will include effectively and efficiently analyzing and resolving potential ethical, contractual, and potential major business conflicts of interest posed by new business intake and lateral hiring.
The CRCC also will be responsible for researching and analyzing issues under applicable laws relating to the firm’s ethical duties and advising on other compliance and risk management issues associated with firm operations, as needed.
The CRCC will be expected to have excellent analytical and communication skills as they manage a dynamic and often fast paced set of matters and issues.
The RCC will report directly to the firm's New Business Deputy General Counsel and coordinate on a regular basis with the firm's Ethics Deputy General Counsel, as well as other members of the firm’s Office of General Counsel ("OGC ).
The RCC will collaborate with other RCC 's and work closely with other members of the New Business & Conflicts Department ( NB&C ), including intake and lateral conflicts analysts.
