Job Qualifications
*BSCE degree
*California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer
*10 plus years’ experience in public works design with an emphasis in transportation engineering OR the equivalent work experience of 14 years.
Position requires:

- Interacting comfortably and productively with clients and public agencies
- Ability to develop business in the field of transportation design is a must.
- Experience with Caltrans District 5 and knowledge of Caltrans processes is a plus
- Candidate must have a minimum five years’ project management experience
- Supervision of engineering design teams
- Management of project schedules and budgets
- Preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
- Experience in client and public-agency interactions.
