We are seeking a Process Control System - Analyzer Subject Matter Expert to lead the early conceptual definition of the process analyzer scope for a major greenfield refining and petrochemical project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the initial conceptualization of the process analyzer scope for a large-scale greenfield refining and petrochemical project.
• Present analyzer strategies and provide regular progress updates to customers.
• Develop and implement analyzer program strategies through all phases of the stage gate process.
• Oversee critical activities requiring expertise in analyzers.
• Manage the efforts of third-party design engineering and construction contractors.
• Develop conceptual scopes, specifications, and requirements for analyzer projects.
• Generate, review, and approve analyzer packages for assigned projects.
• Execute and approve Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of analytical systems.
• Design analyzer projects according to engineering and industry standards, ensuring corporate requirements are met.
• Identify and evaluate new analyzer technologies for suitability.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year program).
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial analyzer experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation.
• At least 10 years of total industry experience.
• Strong communication skills for presenting plans and building customer relationships.
• Experience with electrical schematic drawings, logic diagrams, and panel schedules.
• Proficiency in developing specifications, system design, and analyzer selection.
• Industry experience in refining and petrochemical facilities.
• Experience leading initiatives and managing suppliers.
• Experience with complex analyzers for petrochemical applications, including Gas Chromatographs, CEMS, analyzer buildings, sample conditioning systems, and calibration appurtenances.
